The Jazz Song: An American Masterpiece in the District of Columbia will be having a final performance at the Enrique V. Iglesias Conference Center. Poet Sistah Joy will be performing Take 5: The Pulse of a Poet at the University of MD's Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in College Park, Maryland. For further details email PoetsistahJoy@aol.com.

Sandra Y. Johnson will be performing live at Grace Church in DC for a evening of jazz and poetry. The show is from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. There will be snacks, a participatory discussion about creativity and spirituality, and a brief conversation with the artists. Take part in First Person: Tammy Garcia at the National Museum of Women in the Arts from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Garcia, one of the most recognizable figures in Southwestern ceramics, has revolutionized traditional Pueblo. Following Garcia's presentation, participants will have the opportunity to try their hands at coil-pot assembly, the basis of Garcia's works.
