The Art Therapy Show with special guest Sharon Burton

Hey this is Kimberly C. Gaines your Diva of the Day with our special Art Therapy Show! We had a great time bringing you music that heals. And discussing visual art as a healing force in our guest, Sharon Burton's, life.
Special thanks to Sharon Burton fromAuthentic Contemporary Art and the Obtainable Art Project for spending the day with us. Sharon had a few other suggestions for songs that are healing that we didn't get to play like Christina Aguilera's Beautiful, Julie Dexter's Faith and Erykah Badu's Me. Be sure to check out Sharon's website for more ways to collect art and heal from it! Just click the link above!

Also, a special thank you to my good friend Sanaa Harris,Esq., in town for Inaugural festivities, that pitched in and lent a hand behind the scenes the day of the show.

The Art Therapy show was co-produced by Victoria Ford of Bella76 whose musical catalog is quite impressive. Thanks Bella!

Tune into Sophies' Parlor next week for the Diva of the Day Sonte DuCote. Next week begins pledge drive season so if you enjoy what we play on Sophie's be sure to pledge and become a member of the WPFW family! You can always listen online too at www.wpfw.org
