Catch opening night of Crimes of the Heart by Beth Henley. At the Theatre on the Run located at 3700 South Four Mile Run Drive in Arlington. This will run through April 19th with performances Thursday - Saturday at 8pm Sunday at 2pm.

Soar high at the 43rd Annual Smithsonian Kite Festival held on the federal mall beginning at 10am. This family friendly event is free and open to everyone, bring a kite. For more info check online at www.kitefestival.org.
We want to make sure that each of you is aware of the special program being broadcast from the station this Saturday March 28th from 11 AM to 4 PM. The program is entitled “Yes We Do; The Many Faces of Women in Music”. The program will present 3 live Music Sets and 3 Roundtable discussions. This program is a collective effort of Sophie’s Parlor, Women programmers of WPFW. This is an event you don’t want to miss!!!!
Ladies Verse 9: State of Mind is an event like no other. Join the Ladies for an evening of true entertainment, woman styled. A Cultural fair begins at 7 pm, performances at 8:15 pm at the Walters Art Museum, 600 N. Charles St, Baltimore, MD.

Join us for an exciting videoconference event with writer Elizabeth Moon, author of The Speed of Dark. Ms. Moon will be joining us live in an interactive discussion with students, faculty, staff, and community from 12:30-2 PM at Howard Community College, Monteabaro Hall (Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center 130). Maryland State and DC AFL-CIO welcomes you out for a Women’s History Month Celebration with guest speaker Congresswoman Donna Edwards. The event takes place from 6-8pm at the IBEW Local 26, which is at 4371 Parliament Place in Lanham. For info call 443-995-6860 or 410-318-8507.
